Rochdale vs Northampton preview - Lancashire set for Rochdale recall
Posted Tuesday, November 18, 2014 by PA
Rochdale will be without on-loan Blackburn defender Jack O'Connell for their FA Cup first-round replay against Northampton.
O'Connell does not have permission to play in the competition and his absence could mean a recall for Ollie Lancashire in central defence.
Striker Ian Henderson sits out the second game of his three-match ban, but midfielder Matty Lund returned from international duty with Northern Ireland in time to be named on the bench for Saturday's defeat at Port Vale and is again in contention.
On-loan pair goalkeeper Conrad Logan and winger Reuben Noble-Lazarus are both available to manager Keith Hill.
Northampton are without Tom Newey after the defender damaged his ankle ligaments in their 2-1 defeat at Cambridge on Friday.
He is expected to be out for up to a month and joins Zander Diamond (ankle) on the sidelines.
Evan Horwood is back in training and Lewis Hornby has returned to light training but both are still a while away from returning after they were suffering from tendinitis.
Ian Morris remains a long-term absentee after dislocating his knee in August.
