Brechin City 2 : 1 Stirling Albion - Brechin see off struggling Stirling

Ten-man Brechin made it two wins from two in Scottish League One, after beating basement side Stirling 2-1 at Glebe Park.
Robert Thomson put Brechin ahead after 27 minutes when Robert Barr teed him up to pull his shot across goal and into the bottom corner.
City were reduced to ten men just nine minutes into the second period, as Colin Hamilton was shown a second booking for a deliberate handball.
Gordon Smith took the resulting spot-kick, but Graeme Smith got across to save it to keep his side in the lead.
The home side were not affected by Stirling's man advantage, though. They doubled their lead within two minutes of Hamilton's dismissal miss when Paul McLean got on the end of Jamie Masson's cross, heading home brilliantly from close-range.
Graham Weir pulled one back for the visitors with five minutes to go but it was too little, too late for Stirling to stage a comeback.
