WHEN you're penning an autobiography it can be rather problematic if your love life moves faster than the average Formula One car.

Kelly Brook's book only hit the shelves last month, but she's already dumped the fella she was planning to wed.

Kelly announced she'd given CBB star David McIntosh the elbow on Friday evening and publishers are keen for her to add a few more chapters to Close Up detailing their split – but she thinks deleting him entirely will act as the ultimate snub.

Leaving him out of the paperback edition of her autobiography will send a clear message to the ex-Gladiator hunk that her fling with him means little in comparison to other exes Danny Cipriani and Jason Statham, who she dishes the juicy details on over many pages.

A source close to the model revealed: "Publishers would love her to write a few more chapters about how her engagement to David ended.

"But Kelly didn't even mention David in the book while they were together and after the way it ended she doesn't want to have that in black and white."

Former flame Sarah Harper made allegations in The Sun that she and David indulged in cocaine-fuelled romps behind Ms Brook's back.

And while he strongly denies the claims, it doesn't look as though Kelly is ready to accept his version of events.

The source added: "It's a pretty big insult if he doesn't make the cut. It's almost like she's erasing him from her life. It will be the final sign that he is irrelevant."

Kelly originally tweeted: "It's a sad day but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged."

In a statement David claimed he was "deeply upset" over the reports and denied drug abuse and cheating on Kelly.
