Peterhead 1 : 1 Stirling Albion - Peterhead pick up a point

Rory McAllister salvaged a late goal for Peterhead to earn them a 1-1 draw with Stirling in their first game in the Scottish Championship.
The visitors, who were promoted with Jim McInally's side last season, took the lead through Gordon Smith after 55 minutes as the 23-year-old struck into the bottom corner after Lewis Coult's through ball found him.
Peterhead's Bryan Gilfillan's 62nd-minute shot was blocked by Lee Hamilton and Stirling's immediate counter-attack saw Graham Weir fire his chance over the bar.
As Peterhead increased the pressure on the visitors, it was last season's 33-goal scorer McAllister who drew them level. Ryan Strachan's free-kick was lofted into the box and McAllister found space to lob the ball high into the visitors' goal to rescue a point for the Blue Toon.
