MANCHESTER UNITED are still interested in snapping up Juventus star Arturo Vidal, while Arsenal are ready to focus on signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich is desperate to seal his client's move to Manchester United.

Felicevich is reportedly working round the clock to try and wrap up an Old Trafford switch.

The Chile ace's representative has reportedly given Juve an attractive offer from United to mull over.

Sporting Lisbon have put William Carvalho up for sale leaving Arsenal in pole position to sign the midfielder.

Portuguese publication Record say that the decision was made during an important board meeting this week.

Wenger is expected to focus on Carvalho despite having a £24m bid turned down last week by the Primeira Liga runners-up.

Arsenal were on the cusp of beating Liverpool and United to Marco Reus before injury struck.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with the striker since then but Arsene Wenger reportedly went close to pulling off an incredible coup.
