Sagna has frequently been accused of acting like a mercenary after turning down the Gunners for a move to the Etihad.

The 31-year-old rejected several offers from Arsene Wenger to remain at the Emirates and instead signed a £150,000-a-week deal to move to Manchester and join up with fellow ex-Gunner Samir Nasri.

But the Frenchman, who helped the Gunners win the FA Cup in his final game for the club, has dismissed claims he moved for money.

"I'm going to clear everything up because I keep reading that I did it for money and I'm greedy," he said.
