FRENCH STRIKER CONTINUES TO DIVIDE OPINION - Benzema:

Carlo Ancelotti continued to put his trust in Karim Benzema on Wednesday against Copenhagen but while he will get few better chances to win over the fans, the French striker was substituted without having found the back of the net.

The crowd appeared to be divided in its reaction when Benzema was replaced with ten minutes remaining and it will take the player some more hard work before convincing the majority that he is back in form, the positive thing is he recognises that fact: "I understood the fan's message, I need to work harder, especially in defence", he said afterwards.

"I am playing and that makes me happy, Ancelotti is helping me and I have a good relationship with him", the Frenchman continued: "I have not scored but I think I have worked hard and moved well, I was involved in the goals and I am going to continue trying to improve my game".
