The trainer praised his side's spirits after they fought back to level against Inter and maintained Fernando Llorente still has a part to play in his team
Juventus coach Antonio Conte believes his side can go on to make history in Serie A this season on the back of clinching a 1-1 draw at Inter in the Derby d'Italia on Saturday.
Arturo Vidal cancelled out Mauro Icardi's opener almost immediately and Conte believes his team's response embodied their fighting spirit perfectly.
"Icardi is a very good player, and when he sees Juve he sees goals, but it showed Juventus are a tough team that don't die and are hard to beat," the Italian acknowledged to reporters.
"We played a good game against a team like Inter, who confirmed they will fight for the title. And we could even have gotten a second.
"Serie A is our real objective right now and we can achieve something historic this season. I saw my team play very well at a difficult ground."
Conte has fielded the same line-up for three consecutive games, but insists there will be a time for squad rotation and that Fernando Llorente's position is not in jeopardy.
"I would never rotate the squad against Inter. Squad rotation will be done when it is opportune," the 44-year-old continued. "Everyone starts equal. I trust in the guys who have played less.
"Fernando Llorente is part of the squad, but he was out for a year and that means losing sharpness, so he needs time to get back to full fitness.
"I won’t throw him into the mix before he’s ready just to keep the media happy."
The Scudetto winners snapped up the striker on a free transfer just this summer, but he has since failed to feature in a single minute of his new team's campaign.
