Atletico Madrid's Arda Turan may be heading to the Premier League soon, according to his agent.
Turan has aroused the interest of several clubs across Europe after establishing himself as a key part of Atletico Madrid's squad since joining the club from Galatasaray in 2011.
The Madrid side are keen to keep Turan, but his agent Ahmet Bulut has revealed that there is a release clause in the player's contract that can facilitate a move.
"The transfer of Arda to the Premier League this summer is likely," Bulut told Turkish television station NTV Spor.
"England is where most of the interest in him lies and they are well informed about Atletico's stance.
"They know that the Madrid club are rejecting all offers for him but that if the pay his release clause there is nothing the club can do. There have been discussions."
His agent also added that there had been interest from Turkey, though he stressed: "No team has come close to offering the €24m [£20m] stated in his contract, but there has been a lot of activity this summer."
Bulut confirmed that an earlier approach from Monaco was rejected, saying: "Both Atletico and Arda simultaneously rejected it."
