Isco, Carvajal and Illarra gelling perfectly

Ancelotti has a puzzle to put together and the new pieces are fitting right in. Carvajal, Isco and Illarramendi played their first match for Real Madrid, but made it look like they had been there for years. The three gelled perfectly with the rest of the squad, marking the beginning of a long-lasting friendship.
Cristiano has a new partner, and a very good one, in the form of Isco, who shone in the first half of the game against Bournemouth. The Málaga-born player made the starting line-up and gelled with everyone. He will link up perfectly with Özil and Modric, who Ancelotti played together in the first 45 minutes. Isco played a free role. He moved throughout the front lines picking out his friends dressed in white. He is already on Cristiano's wavelength, who received all of the balls which Isco generated alongside Luka and Mesut.
Carvajal and Nacho were the players who spent the most time on the pitch in Bournemouth. The full back played almost 70 minutes and made his mark on the right flank, which he dominated from start to finish. He was more of a winger than anything else, and proved that he has a role to play in the attack. He surges forward at full speed with his head up.
Ancelotti reserved Illarra until after the break. He brought him on for the second half and he played alongside Casemiro, another youngster who made the most of his opportunity. Asier played the way that he always does – stylish yet solid.
It was not just the most recent arrivals who impressed. Casemiro, who is still relatively new, even scored a goal and the youngsters made their respective bids for a place. One of those places is already held by Morata, who cuts in dangerously from the left. Make way for the new kids on the block.
