Globoesporte has published a report on the transfer of Neymar to Barça that reveals that the Catalan giants paid Santos and the companies DIS and Teisa €17.1 million in total for the rights to the player. The other €40 million were used in a payment to the player's father as a commission.
According to the minutes of a meeting at Santos, Barça offered the club's Vice President Odilio Rodrigues a figure of €16.5 million. In the end Sandro Rosell had to increase the offer to €17.1 million which was then shared out, with more than €9 million going to Santos, around €7 million to DIS and another million to Teisa.
In addition, a fee of €171,000 was paid in administration costs according to the report.
Barça will also pay a further €2 million if Neymar is among the three finalists in the Ballon d'Or. There will also be two friendlies between the two clubs, one coming in the Gamper Trophy on August 2nd with the other in Brazil at a later date. Globoesporte also confirmed there is a priority agreement in place between the two clubs that gives Barça the chance to bring the best young Brazilian players to Spain.
