Fredy Guarin's agent Marcelo Ferreyra has declared that his client intends to stay at Inter Milan despite the transfer rumours.

Guarin has impressed in midfielder for Inter ever since joining them from Porto last season, which has led to rumoured transfer interest from Tottenham, Manchester United and Anzhi Makhachkala.

The Azzurri are reportedly open to the sale in order to fund new coach Walter Mazzarri's squad overhaul, but the player himself is not seeking a move away, according to his agent Ferreyra.

"He wants to stay at Inter," the agent told Internews.it. "He's happy and he wants to become a champion in their colours.

"Manchester United, Tottenham and Anzhi are not part of our sporting project. Going to other clubs doesn't interest us.

"My client wants to win in the shirt of Inter."
