Atletico targets Mario Gomez Mario Gomez is the latest name to be linked with Atlético de Madrid as the 'Mattress Makers' look to replace Radamel Falcao. The powerful striker's agent has told 'Bild' that a potential deal would appeal to both parties.

The marksman, who is currently on holiday in Ibiza, is a shoo-in to leave Bayern Munich this summer and, according to the reports in 'Bild', his representative is set to travel to Madrid to discuss a possible move.

Fiorentina and Juventus have also thrown their hat into the ring for the in-demand goalscorer, who is rated at around €35 million, a valuation that could price Atlético out of the race for his signature.
