Granada CF vs Getafe preview - Rafa eyes Euro spot

Getafe defender Rafa has his sights firmly set on sealing a ninth-placed finish in the Primera Division this weekend, with the spot offering a potential route into the Europa League.
As it was third-placed Atletico Madrid and second-placed Real Madrid who went head-to-head in the Copa del Rey final this term, there are three Europa League berths available in the table.
And with it remaining to be seen whether or not Malaga (guaranteed a top-seven finish) or Rayo Vallecano (guaranteed a top-eight spot) will be allowed to take part in European competition next season, ninth position could prove enough for qualification.
That is the hope of Getafe, 10th ahead of Saturday's season-concluding away clash with Granada and looking to leapfrog ninth-placed Sevilla, who are level on points with them but have a considerably better goal difference.
"It's the last game and we want to win and be ninth," Rafa said.
"Then, if we get lucky (by getting a place in the Europa League), we will celebrate the most.
"At the beginning of the season we said we wanted to get to the last few games with a chance of qualifying for Europe, and in the end we have succeeded in that."
Granada are 16th in the table and safe from the threat of relegation, sitting five points clear of the drop zone.
Their coach Lucas Alcaraz is eager for his side to take a professional approach to Saturday's contest.
"This closes the season and it's clear that the fans should have every right to enjoy the game," Alcaraz said.
"Hopefully it will be a good match. We must approach the game with maximum intensity and professionalism.
"We have to compete. We must try to seize the day, play a good game and finish with a good feeling.
"We have to be focused on tomorrow's game out of respect for the fans."
