Fergie: My 2013 crop is one of Utd's very best

ALEX FERGUSON believes Manchester United’s current side is among his best.
They will be crowned champions if they beat Aston Villa at Old Trafford tonight.
Fergie said: “If we win the league the team has to be considered in terms of other teams, there is no doubt about that.”
United could set a Premier League record of 96 points if they go on to win their remaining five matches.
And Ferguson added: “What may create more awareness of the side is how many points we get.
“We won it in 1997 with 75 and we have also won it with 91 points.
“That has to be considered in judgment against other teams.”
In yesterday’s SunSport Harry Redknapp claimed the Treble team was Fergie’s best but they only got 79 points in pipping Arsenal to the title.
United’s best in a 38-game season was the 91 they achieved in both 2000 and 2006, while Chelsea hold the record with 95 from 2005.
Ferguson reckons this team have shown the qualities to be held alongside his other great champions. He said: “There is a resilience and like all the previous teams, they never give in and that’s a fact.”
United may clinch the title tonight but will not lift the Premier League trophy until their final home game of the season on Sunday May 12.
