Kris Doolan scored a brace as Partick climbed to the top of the Scottish First Division with a 3-0 away victory over 10-man Cowdenbeath.
The hosts dominated possession in the early stages, but were unable to make the most of the pressure in an opening 20 minutes which saw goalscoring chances at a premium.
It was Partick who took the lead in the 24th minute, when Stephen O'Donnell fired in from close-range with the first shot on target.
The Jags doubled their lead just six minutes later - Doolan heading in from a James Craigen corner, before a tough task became even more difficult for Cowden.
Thomas O'Brien was dismissed in the 70th minute for unfairly denying Doolan a goalscoring opportunity, but the striker soon capitalised on O'Brien's absence by extending the visitors' lead with a close-range header from a Steven Lawless cross.
