Cowdenbeath 2 : 1 Partick Thistle - Fog wins out in abandoned clash
Posted Tuesday, February 26, 2013 by PA
Cowdenbeath led 2-1 as their game against Partick was abandoned with less than half an hour to play due to thick fog.
Cowden went ahead after four minutes when Motherwell loanee Craig Moore volleyed home from close range before Jags winger Steven Lawless netted his 11th goal of the season from six yards in the 23rd minute.
The visibility became worse in the second half as the fog began to descend. This appeared to benefit the hosts, who regained the lead in the 64th minute when Craig Moore found the top corner from the edge of the area before the game was called off two minutes later.
