Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos believes the team is fired up and ready for their Copa del Rey tie with Barcelona.
Both teams go into their Copa del Rey semi-final tie on the back of huge wins, with Barcelona recording a 5-1 victory over Osasuna and Real Madrid thumping Getafe 4-0 thanks in part to a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick.
Speaking to the club's official website, Roberto Carlos indicated that Los Blancos need no motivation when it comes to a contest with their traditional rivals.
"A Clásico is the best game of the season. Whether in the League, Cup or Champions league, these are very important games," he stated.
"I think that the team are looking focused and confident and they seem to be in high spirits for tomorrow's [Wednesday] game."
With the first leg of the cup tie due to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Brazilian backed Jose Mourinho's team to give the home fans something to cheer about.
"When the Santiago Bernabéu is full, it creates a spectacular atmosphere and you have to give it your all to win the game," Roberto Carlos explained.
"Real Madrid have come into some form and the team is on the right track."
