Tottenham in pole position to land Celtic striker

Tottenham have edged ahead of Norwich in the race to sign Celtic striker Gary Hooper.
The Bhoys hitman is wanted by the Premier League pair, after his efforts in the Champions League helped Neil Lennon’s side progress to the knockout stages.
Tottenham scouts were in Scotland on Tuesday night to watch Celtic’s 4-0 victory over Dundee
United and is now understood to have stepped up efforts to land the 24-year-old.
The Canaries have had an improved £5million bid, plus Steve Morison, rejected for Hooper with the SPL side believed to want a sum of at least £7million.
Spurs have been in talks with the Hoops this week and talkSPORT understands the north
London side are in pole position to secure the former Scunthorpe United striker’s services.
