Siena vs AS Roma preview - "Hero" Destro set for Siena reunion

Siena have already lost out to Roma once this year and they will be keen not to suffer another defeat, on the field this time, when the sides meet at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
They will play for 90 minutes on Sunday whereas their last battle lasted three months in the summer and concluded with Roma signing Italy under-21 international Mattia Destro.
Destro's 12 goals last season saved Siena from relegation to Serie B and they were keen to hold onto the former Genoa striker this year.
However, Roma courted him for the entire summer, finally reaching an agreement with their Serie A rivals just before the start of the season, and Destro will now face his former club on the field.
"Mattia has the quality to do well at Roma and I think it's the ideal club for him," said Siena's vice president Valentina Mezzaroma to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Certainly he has to put his weight about with other strikers, who are all very strong, but (Zdenek) Zeman will know how to get the best out of him."
Destro may have only spent one season in Tuscany, but he certainly made a lasting impression there.
"He was a level-headed lad who knew what quality he had, but he was very professional," continued Mezzaroma.
"Mattia is a very mature lad for his age and I have a good relationship with him and we talk a lot.
"Siena never forget our heroes."
It took a while for Destro to make his mark for Roma, but after opening his account against Palermo, he decided Roma's last game against Pescara and is now certain of his place in the Roma attack tomorrow with Erik Lamela unavailable.
Roma head to Siena with a three-point deficit to make up on their city rivals Lazio, but winning at the Franchi is not an easy task.
Only Juventus have managed it all season with Siena putting 12 points in the bank on home turf, even if a six-point penalty means they are currently in the bottom three with only 11 points.
