Los Blancos superstar admits winning Europe’s premier competition for a second time is a personal goal of his while he also claims La Liga is the best league in the world
Cristiano Ronaldo has said it is a dream of his to win the Champions League with Real Madrid.
The Portuguese forward lifted the trophy in 2008 with Manchester United, and was a runner-up the following year with the Red Devils after defeat to Barcelona.
Now, the 27-year-old harbours ambitions of winning it again, this time with the champions of Spain who are aiming for an unprecedented 10th success.
"It's my dream to win the Champions League again,” Ronaldo told Marca.
“Everything is focused on winning the Champions League [at Real Madrid]. You can feel it everywhere, even in the street because everyone knows we're close to winning the club's 10th European Cup.”
The former Man Utd winger also said he believes La Liga to be of a higher standard than the Premier League and Serie A.
He added: “The Spanish league is the best in the world as the best teams and the best players are there."
Jose Mourinho’s side are currently third in the Primera Division after taking 26 points from 12 games.
