- USAIN Bolt broke a TV record too — with a staggering 20 million Brits tuning in for his 100 metres sprint win.

Overnight ratings showed 19.4 million watched on BBC1 with 600,000 more “red button” viewers — making it the UK’s biggest ever Olympics audience.

My skip ban

USAIN Bolt had a go at London 2012 jobsworths who stopped him taking his skipping rope into the stadium and told him to stand in a straight line before his 100m race to glory.

He said: “It’s just weird small rules.” But he said it had been “a great Olympics” and said he would be at Rio in 2016.
