AC Milan have joined the chase to sign unsettled Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
Kolarov, 26, has been the subject of much conjecture since the end of last season after seeing his first-team place taken by former Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy.
City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted his desire to keep hold of the Serbia international, but Kolarov could be tempted by the prospect of first-team football and a return to Serie A.
Juventus and Inter Milan are both credited with having an interest in Kolarov, but Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claims Milan have turned to the former Lazio defender after cooling their interest in Palermo and Italy full-back Federico Balzaretti.
