Destro hints at choosing Roma over Inter because of Zeman and Borini

Mattia Destro has revealed that if he is given a choice between Inter and Roma, he would choose the latter as he would like to play under Zdenek Zeman, and alongside Fabio Borini and Francesco Totti.
The striker is set to return to Genoa this summer after a hugely successful loan spell at Siena that caught the attention of Serie A's top clubs, as well as Italy coach Cesare Prandelli, who included the 21-year-old in his provisional panel for Euro 2012.
Destro has been heavily linked with a return to Inter but in discussing his disappointment at failing to make the final Azzurri squad, he explained that he would favour a move to the Stadio Olimpico as he would love to link up with fellow young gun Borini, incoming coach Zeman and Giallorossi legend Totti.
"Regarding Borini, we just never get to play together and now he's remained with the national team and I've gone to the Under-21s, I hope that sooner or later I'll get to eventually play alongside him, maybe wearing the Roma jersey," the former Inter Primavera forward told Sportmediaset.it.
"And it would be a dream to be able to be trained by a coach as good as Zeman. It would be even better to play alongside a champion like Francesco Totti!"
Destro left the Nerazzurri to join Genoa on loan in 2010 before sealing a permanent switch to the Luigi Ferraris the following year.
