Alba would be welcome at Barcelona - Adriano

Barcelona utility man Adriano has stated that he would support the potential signing of Valencia left-back Jordi Alba.
The Camp Nou outfit have been suggested as the likeliest destination for the 23-year-old, who has established himself as one of the most sought-after talents in his country.
Former Valencia coach Unai Emery revealed earlier on Thursday that Los Che had already agreed to Alba's sale, but Adriano did not wish to say whether Barca had won the race for the Spain international.
"I really like Jordi Alba as a footballer, he is a very good player, very good defensively," the Brazilian told a press conference.
"He can also do a lot of damage when he goes up the field and he has a lot of technical quality.
"If Barca sign him, he would be welcome."
Adriano has featured infrequently for Barcelona, but the former Sevilla man stressed that he is not considering the possibility of leaving the club in the summer.
"I still have a lot of things to do at this club," he insisted. "I am going through my best moment since I arrived here.
"I am fine here and my decision is to stay at the club next season."
Speaking ahead of the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao on May 25, Adriano lamented the date set for the final and was adamant that Barca will want to take the title home.
"It seems that the season is over, but that is not the case for us," the versatile player explained.
"We are not competing and we will we have to charge our batteries again. But we are training well and we will be ready.
"We want to win the Copa for Pep Guardiola and also for Tito Vilanova to have his debut in the Supercopa."
