Man United launch second bid for Benfica star

Manchester United have launched a second bid believed to be around £20m for Benfica star Nico Gaitan, according to sources in Portugal.
Sir Alex Ferguson is eager to sign Gaitan having been impressed with his performances for Benfica.
Gaitan has been scouted for well over a year and it was recently suggested that United had a £16m opening bid turned down.
Benfica remain aware of United's interest in Gaitan and face a fight to hold on to him this summer, with Ferguson trying to push a deal through early.
The front page of Portuguese newspaper Record claims United have made an improved offer of around £20m for Gaitan, 24.
Gaitan can play on the wing or centrally and Manchester City have also expressed an interest in him.
But Ferguson and United's determination to land the Argentina international has made them favourites to land him when the transfer window opens.
