Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has vowed his team will fight until the last minute of the season to secure Champions League football next term.
The Giallorossi bounced back from their 2-1 defeat to Lazio in the city derby with a 1-0 triumph at Palermo last weekend.
Fabio Borini's goal revived Roma's hopes of a top-three finish in Serie A.
Roma head into Monday's clash against Genoa in sixth spot - seven points behind Lazio, who hold the last Champions League qualifying place with 11 games remaining.
De Rossi reckons he and his team-mates have the character to up their challenge and has promised they will battle to the end.
"There are many games to go and all we can do is try to win them all," De Rossi said. "After that, we will see where we end up.
"Against Palermo, we kept a clean sheet and learned that if we are not focused, wide awake and a bit smart, we will struggle.
"The race to finish third is going to be very challenging, of course, but we can only try and nothing is impossible."
Roma coach Luis Enrique is set to stick by the team that beat Palermo at the weekend, with the exception of captain Francesco Totti, who is out injured.
Rivals Genoa travel to Rome looking for their first win away from home since December 10.
Since then, the Grifoni have taken one point from a possible 18 on the road.
Genoa held Juventus to a goalless draw last time out to clinch their third consecutive point.
The result lifted the Grifoni to 13th place.
"We were fortunate to take a point against Juventus," Genoa coach Pasquale Marino said. "They created much more than us and put us under pressure.
"Luck will not always be on our side and we need to improve and play better."
