I have a say

Paul McLean's late equaliser was enough to earn Brechin a point in a 1-1 draw with Arbroath.

Chances were at a premium in the first half, but Josh Falkingham came closest to giving Arbroath the lead when his effort came back off a post on the half-hour mark.

The visitors finally broke the deadlock after 71 minutes when Steven Doris was on hand to fire home Gavin Swankie's cross.

Brechin pulled level 10 minutes from time when McLean found the top corner after good work from Paul McManus.

Falkingham could have sealed all three points in the final minute but his long-range drive was well saved by Craig Nelson.

The point means second-placed Arbroath move 11 points clear of Dumbarton as they edge closer to league leaders Cowdenbeath.
