Lorient signs defender Lamine Gassama from Lyon

LORIENT, France (AP)—Lorient has signed defender Lamine Gassama from Lyon on a 4 1/2 -year deal.
The 22-year-old Senegal international came through the youth ranks at Lyon and broke into the first team three seasons ago, but played only 17 league games at right back.
Lorient announced the deal on its website and did not give any financial details.
