Hamilton FC vs Greenock Morton preview - Cerny missing against Morton
Posted Saturday, December 17, 2011 by PA
Hamilton manager Billy Reid will again be without injured goalkeeper Tomas Cerny when Morton visit.
Reid still has to decide who will be between the sticks with back-up keeper David Hutton likely to be restored if trialist Scott Christie is not available.
Skipper Alex Neil has returned to training after more than six months out but this contest has come too soon for the 30-year-old. Kyle Wilkie also remains out with winger Grant Anderson a major doubt with a knee injury.
Reid said: "Both ourselves and Morton will be looking to end a disappointing run of results by getting a win.
"We tightened up at the back considerably against Falkirk last week and will look to build on that."
Morton will include fit-again midfielders Michael Tidser and Fouad Bachirou in their starting line-up as they look to get the win that will arrest their slide down the table.
Midfielder Darren McGeough could play after recovering from a knock but defensive duo Stuart McCaffrey and Ross Forsyth remain sidelined through injury.
Manager Allan Moore has asked his side to give an error-free performance and said: "We have not been playing badly but individual mistakes at crucial times are killing us and costing us points.
"We have a couple of players back which is great as our poor run in the second quarter of the season has co-incided with a number of players being out."
