Hercules vs Real Mallorca preview - Hercules still fighting

Hercules will hope to ensure their fight against relegation at least goes to the penultimate weekend of the season by picking up a victory over Real Mallorca.
Saturday's 3-2 home defeat to Racing Santander left Hercules second-bottom of the standings and six points adrift of 17th-placed Real Zaragoza and safety with three games remaining.
It is looking grim for Hercules to avoid an immediate return to the Segunda Division, but they will at least want to go down fighting.
Striker David Trezeguet said on www.diarioinformacion.com: "The situation is very difficult after the defeat to Racing. There are still three games left, in which we need to work with professionalism and reflect on the future.
"Now we have to think about the Mallorca game and going out with the desire and motivation to get a positive result.
"We will try to get a good result and until we are mathematically down we have to continue working in the best way possible."
Mallorca are not safe from the drop either even though they are in 11th spot, as there are just four points separating 18th-placed Deportivo La Coruna from ninth-placed Sporting Gijon.
Mallorca defender Pau Cendros said: "A point against Hercules in Alicante is good, we will continue working. Until we are mathematically safe the job isn't done.
"This team (Hercules) will want to fight and we have to be the same or stronger than them."
Mallorca's following match is away to already-relegated Almeria at the weekend before they complete their campaign with a home fixture against Atletico Madrid.
Cendros added: "Every point you can add is good. Now we have two successive away games and let's see if we can pick something up.
"Things are complicated because the teams at the bottom are winning, there are three games left and soon things will be cleared up."
