Villarreal's Nilmar: Playing for Barcelona would be a dream come true

Villarreal attacker Nilmar has revealed that it would be like a dream come true if La Liga champions Barcelona made a move for him, adding that he's eager to play for the Blaugrana.

The Catalan giants are reportedly interested in signing an extra attacker in the summer transfer window and Nilmar is one of the candidates to move to Camp Nou.

"It would be a dream come true to play for a big team like Barcelona. Barca and Real Madrid are the biggest clubs in the world and it would be great to wear the jersey of Barcelona at one point in my career," Nilmar was quoted as saying by Marca.

"You never know what will happen in the future and I'm eager to join a bigger club one day. Nevertheless, I have an ongoing contract with Villarreal and I'm feeling very well at the club."

The 26-year-old Nilmar joined Villarreal from Internacional in the summer of 2009 and has since developed into a key player at the Yellow Submarine. He currently sits 64th in the Castrol EDGE Rankings
