The World Cup is just two weeks away and what better way to celebrate than take a look at the WAGS set to light up our lives in June and July.

Everyone here at TEAMtalk Towers is eagerly anticipating the start of proceedings in South Africa a fortnight from now, but we all know we're going to get bored at seeing the ugly mugs of Ribery, Rooney, Tevez and co.

What we never get bored of, though, is the players' lovely wives and girlfriends and that's why we've bought you a selection of the best wags on our new dedicated World Cup microsite.

The microsite contains the latest news on the preparations of of 32 competitors, plus full fixture lists, a dedicated Your Say section and reports of all the warm-up games.

Once the tournament gets underway our editorial team will be producing weekly World Cup Podcasts and daily round-up blogs - one from our Leeds-based staff focusing on match-related matters, and one from our team in South Africa who will be giving us a flavour of how the biggest event in world football's calendar affects the country.
