The captain does not want the goalkeeper to go to Inter...
Bologna captain Marco Di Vaio has told custodian Emiliano Viviano not to return to Inter at season's end because it may be a detriment to his career.
Viviano is co-owned by both teams, and Di Vaio wants the shot-stopper to stay so that he can improve as a player before making the move to a big club.
"He has done some fantastic things here at Bologna, and could surely return to Inter," the former Juventus striker told Datasport. "Viviano has the right mentality to do well at a big club.
"But is is always difficult having a second stellar season in the Serie A.
"He knows it would be in his best interest to stay at Bologna for another season, in a place where he is wanted, held in high esteem and is already familiar with the surroundings.
"This is why I advised him to stay and play another season here," added Di Vaio.
