Injury crisis eases for Alloa

The injury crisis at Second Division leaders Alloa has eased slightly with defender Scott Buist being declared fit for the home match with neighbours Stenhousemuir.
Defenders Chris Townsley and David McClune remain sidelined with knocks, along with full-back Kevin Welsh, with strikers Mark Gilhaney and Stuart Noble also ruled out.
Winger Andy Scott is suspended following his red card at Cowdenbeath in midweek to leave boss Allan Maitland bringing in youth players Jason Thomson and Scott Gallagher.
Maitland said: "It is not the ideal squad for a game against a Stenhousemuir side that are on a great run.
"You just have to get on with it and I am sure Stenhousemuir manager John Coughlin is saying much the same with having Kevin Motion out suspended."
Stenhousemuir boss John Coughlin insists the club`s target of survival has yet to be achieved.
Midfielder Kevin Motion is suspended with striker Andy Brand remaining on the sidelines because of a knee injury.
Coughlin said: "There is no clear daylight between the sides below us so we have to keep on with this fine run.
"Alloa and Stenhousemuir games are always tough encounters so we need to be up for this one to make it nine games without defeat."
