Bent: I'll be ready for Euro 2012

England striker Darren Bent insists he will be fit in time for Euro 2012.
Bent has been sidelined at Aston Villa since February with ankle ligament damage and has been in a race against time to be fit for the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
England physio Gary Lewin has twice made checks on the 28-year-old former Tottenham and Sunderland star in the last fortnight to assess his fitness.

Aston Villa striker Darren Bent is able to walk without crutches as he continues his recovery from ankle ligament damage.
The England international is keen to get back on the training pitch as soon as possible but insists that he is not specifically targeting a spot with the Three Lions at Euro 2012 this summer.

Darren Bent was stretchered off in agony as Premier League basement boys Wigan failed to capitalise on their dominance against Aston Villa at the DW Stadium in a stalemate.
