Schalke sign midfielder Bastos on loan from Lyon

BERLIN, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Schalke 04 signed midfielder Michel Bastos on loan from Olympique Lyon on Tuesday in a deal until 2014 as they hope to turn their fading season around.
