DAZN Host Emily Austin Treated Following Red Sea Sting

Emily Austin wore a stunning dress as she presented Anthony Joshua’s fight on Dazn

But she was later taken to a medical centre after being stung while swimming

DAZN presenter Emily Austin required treatment at a medical center after being stung while covering Anthony Joshua's heavyweight victory over Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia.

The 25-year-old Brooklyn-born broadcaster and social media influencer, who has 2.8 million Instagram followers, traveled to the Jeddah Superdome to help host the event. Before the bout, she posted videos to her social media practicing her ring walk in a sparkling dress at her luxury resort.

Following the fight, Austin shared a video of herself swimming off the coast in a fenced-off section of the Red Sea, captioned with the moment she felt the sting. Eight hours later, she posted a follow-up image showing her foot raised while receiving care from staff at the Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Centre. Her treatment was minor, and she publicly thanked the medical staff for their assistance.

Austin, who also serves as a Miss Universe judge, has previously worked on NBA coverage and as a World Cup presenter.
