Manchester United youngster returns to Swiss club on loan

Manchester United's Sekou Kone has joined Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with the club, and now returns for the full season.

The Malian midfielder joined United in August 2024 from Guidars FC in his homeland.

During the 2024/25, Kone made 12 appearances for United in Premier League 2, scoring twice while providing two assists.

United still believe Kone has a big future at the club, and will continue his development in Switzerland for the coming season.
