Manchester City and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has officially tied the knot with his long-time partner, interior designer Alessia Elefante.

The couple, who grew up together in Castellammare di Stabia near Naples and have been dating since 2016, celebrated their church wedding at the Church of San Giorgio Martire in Locorotondo, located in the Puglia region of southern Italy. This religious ceremony follows their quieter civil marriage held earlier in May.

Donnarumma and Elefante, who welcomed their first son, Leo, in September 2024, were joined by family, close friends, and notable figures from the sports world. Among the star-studded attendees was Donnarumma's Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland, as well as former Italy manager Roberto Mancini. Following the church service, guests gathered for an evening reception at an exclusive resort in nearby Fasano.
