The coming hours could bring fresh surprises in the transfer business of Riyadh giants Al-Hilal.

Al-Hilal are planning a "replacement and renewal" of their squad this summer, making up for the disappointments of the 2025-2026 season, when the first team had to settle for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup alone.

Against that backdrop, "Al-Midan Al-Riyadi" revealed on Tuesday evening a fresh move by Riyadh giants Al-Hilal to sign England star Harry Kane, the Bayern Munich striker.

According to the newspaper, Al-Hilal technical director Simon Francis has flown to London in a bid to formally seal the Kane deal.

Francis is currently running Al-Hilal's summer transfer business. Scottish sporting director Richard Hughes is expected to come on board in the coming weeks, according to several reports.

Al-Midan Al-Riyadi continued its report on Tuesday evening, confirming that Al-Hilal's sporting director, Simon Francis, will meet the agent of English striker Harry Kane and his entourage in London.

Francis will use the meeting to learn Kane's financial demands, the newspaper said, then try to meet them and sign him officially for Al-Hilal's first football team.

According to the same source, the talks will also set out how Al-Hilal negotiate with Bayern Munich, the German club Kane is contracted to until 30 June 2027.

England striker Harry Kane, 32, has been at German giants Bayern Munich since the summer of 2023, when he made his move official from boyhood club Tottenham Hotspur.

In Bavaria, the Englishman has scored 146 goals and laid on 33 assists across 147 official matches in all competitions, at both domestic and international level.

Riyadh giants Al-Hilal are enjoying a fiery summer transfer window after the club's ownership passed officially to Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.

The club turned their attention first to the domestic market, wrapping up a series of deals as follows:

* Goalkeeper: Mohammed Al-Owais.

* Right-back: Mohammed Al-Sarnouh.

* Winger and playmaker: Sabri Dahl, Abdullah Al-Anazi and Nawaf Al-Habashi.
