Star man Dominik Szoboszlai agrees new long-term Liverpool deal

Dominik Szoboszlai is reportedly set to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Liverpool.

The 25-year-old was a bright spark during a disappointing 2025-26 for Liverpool, playing anywhere from right-back to a number ten as they just about secured Champions League qualification.

Despite Liverpool’s struggles, Szoboszlai enjoyed his most productive season, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists in his 53 games.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Szoboszlai is set to stay at Liverpool for the foreseeable future and has agreed a new five-year deal with the club.

It’s understood that the deal is in its final stages, and an announcement is expected soon, with available players already back for pre-season under new manager Andoni Iraola.
