Arsenal to 'accelerate' talks for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers

Arsenal are reportedly set to 'accelerate' their mission to sign Aston Villa forward and priority target Morgan Rogers.

Rogers, 23, and his fellow England teammates saw their World Cup dreams shattered after a 2-1 defeat to Argentina in the semi-finals.

England won’t be returning home just yet, however, they still have to face France in the third-placed play-off on Saturday (July 18).

According to Fabrizio Romano, now that the World Cup is winding down, Arsenal are set to ‘accelerate’ talks with the Aston Villa ace.

It’s understood that talks over personal terms have been ongoing and are close to being finalised, although Arsenal are yet to make a bid.

Aston Villa are understandably reluctant to let Rogers leave and currently value him at a British record 3130 million.
