Marcus Rashford’s 340 million Man United exit clause expires
Marcus Rashford's 340 million Man United exit clause has reportedly expired.
Rashford, 28, spent last season on loan with Barcelona, but the LaLiga champions decided against activating the 326 million option to buy included in the deal.
It had since been revealed that the England international had a 340m clause, that could be activated by any clubs other than Man City or Liverpool, in his Man United contract.
According to The Athletic, that clause expired on July 15th, and any move will now need to be negotiated with Man United.
As things stand, Rashford will report for pre-season under Michael Carrick after England’s World Cup third place play-off against France on Saturday (July 18).
