Yan Diomande's future takes another twist with latest RB Leipzig decision

RB Leipzig have reportedly made a big call on the future of wonderkid Yan Diomande.

The 19-year-old had a breakout 2025-26, scoring 13 goals and providing nine assists in his 36 games across all competitions.

Diomande has been heavily linked with a move away, with reports suggesting PSG are leading the race, although Liverpool haven’t given up.

During the World Cup, the Ivorian was candid about his future, stating: "I expect to leave the club."

According to SPORT BILD, with no club seemingly willing to meet their 3100 million asking price, RB Leipzig are no longer entertaining a sale.

Instead of negotiating a departure, managing director Marcel Schafer is focusing all efforts on a contract extension that would include a significant salary hike for Diomande.
