Model and influencer Ivana Knoll has shifted her loyalty to Norway ahead of their World Cup quarter final match against England in Miami. The thirty-three-year-old, who rose to fame during the 2022 Qatar World Cup, declined to leave the tournament after Croatia suffered a round of 32 elimination at the hands of Portugal last week.
Knoll showed her support for Erling Haaland's team at the stadium, wearing denim shorts and a bikini top emblazoned with the Norwegian flag and Haaland's number nine. Because of the matching red and white colors, she was able to recycle several Croatia accessories from earlier matches. She posted a clip of her look to her 3 million Instagram followers with the caption, "Game day. Quarterfinal in my city! On my way to support Norway today," drawing widespread praise in the comments.
Her new allegiance comes despite her recent anger at a Norwegian official. Following Croatia's exit—where a marginal offside call canceled out a late equalizer against Portugal—Knoll heavily criticized referee Espen Eskas on social media, writing: "Norwegian referee you did such a s*** job." Outside of football tournaments, Knoll splits her time between modeling and a music career, performing DJ sets across America.
