Man United and Liverpool eye Wolves' Joao Gomes after Atletico move collapsed

Man United and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes after his potential move to Atletico Madrid collapsed.

Gomes, 25, looked set to join Atletico Madrid after agreeing a 335 million deal, but that potential move has collapsed.

It’s understood at that Atletico pulled out of the deal after falling out with agent Jorge Mendes over Bernardo Silva’s move to Real Madrid.

Now, according to Portuguese outlet Globo, Premier League duo Man United and Liverpool are keen on signing the midfielder.

Man United are expected to sign another midfielder as part of their rebuild after pulling out of the move to sign Atalanta’s Ederson.
