Chelsea join race to sign Brazilian midfielder Danilo Santos

Chelsea have reportedly joined the race to sign Brazilian midfielder Danilo Santos alongside several other Premier League sides.

The 25-year-old was part of Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup but failed to start a single game ahead of their elimination at the hands of Norway.

According to Brazilian outlet FogaoNET, Chelsea are the latest side to register an interest in Santos and have made an enquiry to current club Botafogo.

Chelsea face some serious competition, however, with Arsenal, Man United, and Newcastle all said to be tracking him.

Botafogo currently value the midfielder at around 334 million, with former club Nottingham Forest still owed money from his previous transfer.
