Harry Winks on the verge of leaving Leicester for Cagliari

Leicester City midfielder Harry Winks is reportedly on the verge of completing a shock move to Serie A side Cagliari.

The 30-year-old has been with Leicester for three years having joined from boyhood club Tottenham back in the summer of 2023.

Winks, like many of the Leicester squad, had a disappointing 2025-26 as the former Premier League champions were relegated to League One.

Now, according to Alfredo Pedulla, the midfielder is on the verge of joining Cagliari with all parties in advanced negotiations.

Winks is no stranger to Italian football having spent the 2022-23 season on loan with Sampdoria, where he made 20 appearances across all competitions.
