7M - Recharged Jurgen Klopp Ready To Manage Germany National Team

Following Julian Nagelsmann's resignation after Germany was knocked out by Paraguay in the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Jurgen Klopp has stated he is fully prepared to take over as the next national team head coach. The 59 year old manager noted that while he lacked the necessary energy after leaving Liverpool two years ago, he now feels completely recharged and enthusiastic about the role.

However, Klopp clarified that because he is currently under contract with Red Bull, contract negotiations will be required to arrange his departure. He also emphasized that a simple coaching change will not fix the national teams struggles, stating that Germany must implement major structural reforms in its youth development and overall football philosophy to become a global powerhouse once again.
